Junior year is flying by!

I cannot believe how fast this semester is going by. I have been at the new school for 2 months now and I completely love it. I do not regret leaving Olivet. I mean, there are a few things that I miss. Like the freedom, own space (freshmen year) and the dorm life. But, I do not miss some of the people. lol I am not going to get into that one. I am sure that I have talked about that in a previous post. ANYWAYS, We have already had midterms and are getting ready for the last leap until spring. Crazy right? I do have a lot on my plate till then but, I will figure it out. My financial aid is completed and ready to go and I am in a great time in life. Classes are going well. Some of them are getting really boring (Psychology). I cannot believe that by the end of this year, my minor will be completed! Other than that, I am just studying and working all the time. I work at the gas station in town now and it is wonderful!

Well, I better start being productive.

Oh Last Thursday was...interesting.....

Last Thursday I was all excited because my morning class was "canceled" and I didn't have to be in Aurora until 10 am for my math class. Well, I wake up and get ready for school, I drive all the way there and finally find a parking spot. I sat in my car for a few minutes getting my book bag together and all that. When I look out the window and see cop cars everywhere and students being evacuated from the building...Uhmm....What is going on? I get out of my car and walk towards the building and come to find out someone called in a bomb threat on the building. So all students and staff had to be evacuated as soon as possible. Police and Public Safety were everywhere. They sent all of the students to the library or the Spartan Spot to wait until they heard more. Moments later we all get a text and the building has been completely shut down for the day. 3 out of the 4 of my classes are held there...so I left. Leaving was not fun AT ALL. The police were coning in all of the parking lots so no one could get to their cars or even try to leave. I kind of carefully pushed a cone with my car to get out of there. lol. There was NO WAY I was sitting at the school all day because of that. But other than that, nothing happened. I went home, got the house cleaned up and hung out with Russell before I had to work. That's about it. lol. Well onto homework!

Sincerely,

Kaitlyn
