Sweet Summertime

Hello my loyal readers
It has been a great day! Yesterday I took the ACT and I feel really confident about it. I will know my scores in 5-8 weeks which is pretty lame if you ask me. Other than that, I start summer classes next week, that should be interesting. One I am taking online which I have NEVER done before. I had to figure out how to use the website and all that but I think I got it. However, it is EXPENSIVE for a dumb access code for the website. $60...plus a $40 book (on chegg- Originally $130). I hate hate hate hate HATE buying books. I wish they were free or at least super cheap. Oh well, (hopefully) a year and a half to go. Other than that, not much happened today. Had a party to go to and it was awesome! :) I took some pictures with my gorgeous niece Layna.

I know that I have been super down lately with everything that has been going on with the TAP and all that jazz, but I a feeling better about it all. If worse comes to worse, I can take some classes to finish my minor. I am only one class away from my minor in Psychology. So maybe this was a sign that I need to get this credit? Maybe this is the Lords way of saying "Kaitlyn, take a break." It would be awesome if somehow I could get the class into my schedule, but I am already overloading and taking way more than I can handle. Which is no going to be fun. In the end, it is not in my hands. I am just along for the ride. Oh I need to add, that I am going to be a bridesmaid in my friend Amanda's wedding next year. I am overjoyed! I am seriously so excited to be a part of it. Russell is going to be a groomsman so it is going to work out nicely. I have never been in a wedding before so it will be a new experience. 

As you can tell, I am in a great mood. I have been just thinking about what is going on in life and what I need to do in order to achieve my goals. I am just taking it day by day and being ready for anything to happen. I have a new outlook on what has happened and I need to keep positive. No matter how hard I try, things are going to work out in the end. Well time to stop this blog for the day and watch an episode of "Pretty Little Liars" and relax.

New update

The day of the TAP, I blogged when I was upset. I said a few things in that blog that I shouldn't have. For example, that I am taking a semester off. That is not going to happen. No matter what I am going to school next semester and I will love it like usual :) Good news! I was able to sign up for the ACT test!!! I had to pay a little bit extra but, I am on the waiting list to get in. Basically I have to be at the testing center at 7:30, wait in line and hope to goodness that someone does not show up for the test. If something happens and all of the people show up, well 1) I am slightly screwed, and 2) I get my money back. Other than that, nothing is going on. I have been studying and working like crazy. I was so sad but I am feeling a little bit better. :) Well I am going to get studying. I am so thankful for the people who read that blog and helped me through that rough time.
